It seemed like a dubious claim: The O•ZONELite™ not only lasts eight times longer than your average light bulb, but it also “purifies air and eliminates harmful irritants.” As crazy as that sounds, it works. The bulb is coated with the same white material used to paint the little ‘m’ on M&Ms candy — titanium dioxide. This versatile pigment, when activated by light, also kills airborne bacteria, viruses and mold.
